Wilmette

Wilmette is one of the original North Shore communities.  It has been ranked by Business Week, as one of the best places in the U.S.to raise children and today is home to nearly 29,000 residents.  With its proximity to the city of Chicago, excellent schools, diverse architecture, access to excellent beaches on Lake Michigan and a robust business district, it is easy to understand why so many people choose to live in this village.

HOUSING

SCHOOLS

Elementary school children attend District 37 (Avoca) and District 39 (Central School, McKenzie, Harper and Romona).  High school students attend New Trier High School in District 203.  Freshman go to the Northfield Campus and Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors attend the Winnetka Campus.
